''I know that I know nothing'' (Socrates) ''The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know .'' ~ Albert Einstein
Find in in the sub-pages some of my work I've done for Uni being part of my academic curriculum. Those done in groups where you'll find multiple names, I credit them along. If you are one of those names and do not wish to be on my page, let me know and I'll take it down.
Ready, set, learn!
Most of the certificates listed here have hardly to no value in Brazil. This is because there is no law here that pushes the professional to stay up to date in their area of expertise by watching webinars, attending congresses, events and or publishing their work. This also applies to other areas and is not only restricted to the vet field.
There is no examination in the vet area for approval in order to graduate successfully, you simply graduate and are ''good to go''. Because there is no law to prove their competence and in consequence contributing in a positive way to society after graduation, you will find many professionals in the vet area that have no idea what they are doing or just overconfident with no grounds to work on.
Being raised in a different environment and country, I was always encouraged to go after what I wanted even if it meant being left out. And so over the years I've watched and attended many events in the vet field to learn as much as I can. To me it doesn't matter that it holds no value in Brazil because what does matter is that I'm learning from other veterinarians all over the world. And that to me, is more worth than fitting in or following the herd.
Listed below are the companies, sites, events, expositions etc I follow and actively participate in yearly.
